Thomas ‘Tommi’ Ohrner: A life spent between acting and presenting

Thomas “Tommi” Ohrner is a household name in German television and radio.

Born on 3 June 1965, he appeared in front of the camera even as a child – and became a star in the 1970s with the title role in *Timm Thaler*. He also left his mark on an entire generation of television viewers as *Manni, der Libero*.

Whether on screen or behind the scenes – Thomas Ohrner has played many roles.

As well as acting, Thomas also took on responsibilities behind the scenes – as a programme manager for various TV and radio stations.

These days, Thomas Ohrner can be heard regularly on Klassik Radio – and he does so with genuine passion. “Classical music has been part of my life from an early age – I grew up with Mozart, Beethoven and film scores.”
