Christine Allado is a Grammy-nominated stage and film artist who is internationally acclaimed for her performances in renowned musical productions.
Her artistic career is closely linked to the world of Disney: she played the iconic role of Esmeralda in the West End concert premiere of Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame and has also appeared in various symphonic Disney productions.

Christine Allado gained international recognition as a member of the original cast of *Hamilton* in London’s West End. Since then, she has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary musical theatre. In 2020, she appeared as Tzipporah in *The Prince of Egypt* at the Dominion Theatre in London, followed by *We Will Rock You* at the London Coliseum in 2023.

 

She most recently appeared on stage at the Royal Festival Hall as Rachel Marron in *The Bodyguard* and as Julie Jordan in *Carousel*, and is set to make her debut at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in 2026 in *Jo: Little Women Musical*.

Other highlights of her career include performances with the Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli in Manila in 2016, as well as appearances alongside Broadway legends Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga in Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends.

Christine Allado has also appeared on screen in international productions on leading streaming platforms – notably Disney+, as well as Netflix, Paramount+ and Amazon Prime Video. Her work includes The Prince of Egypt: Live from the West End, in which she played the role of Tzipporah. She also appeared as Maria in the BBC production marking the 60th anniversary of West Side Story.

Her concert appearances include the Olivier Awards at the Royal Opera House, as well as performances at the London Palladium and the Royal Albert Hall.

Her Grammy nomination for her portrayal of Tzipporah in *The Prince of Egypt*, including the iconic song “When You Believe”, underscores her status as an internationally sought-after artist at the intersection of stage and film.
